weird.
anyhow. I had the same kind of mojito sarah had when she and I went. and holy shit is is amazing.
I can't find a pic of it, or even the name of it... but if you ever happen to be there it's um... the one with mint leaves and a lemon wedge.
fucking amazing.

ok after looking a bit harder I found it! a tropical berry mojito shaker.
budd picked up mario kart.
it looks like great fun, but after all the eating I did at fridays I chose napping over playing.
I should have a pic of the brownie-from-heaven I had as soon as budd mails it to me.
on thursday lus and I went to this restaurant downtown called the red carpet.
apparently the chef that runs the place is friends with lus (have I mentioned how he seems to know everyone in this town?), so that was nice.
I wasn't particularly impressed with my food, but I will say the guy's bbq ranch dressing was full of win.
and the chicken lus had was pretty good.

our new office mgr went out and bought new monitors for tech support.

I had to change the server from an ip address to now just fishykisses.com... it hadn't worked before (which is why I was using an ip address to begin with) but it's working now!
so that's why I hadn't been blogging!

budd has reminded me what we fought about last tuesday.
which, in my mind, should have been a warning sign about what happened this week.

budd got a new desk, and we moved my desk into his room.
it's like I'm staying in a hotel 'cause everything is different!
and nerys! lol
she loooooves his new desk.
it's got a glass top and I guess 'cause it's cooler than the rest of the apt she likes to lay on it.
we went and saw forbidden kingdom on friday.
it was great fun.
totally not what I was expecting, but it was great fun anyway.
and I need to go back to looking for a new job.

I should really look into getting a new hosting company. maybe I'll do that today, since servers are down. then again, I'd much rather watch some svu than google hosting packages.
budd and I got into a fight last night. I call it a fight, though it was pretty one sided. if you're guessing the fight was on my side, you win a prize.
it's pretty dumb that I got so upset about something that doesn't even involve me, but I still felt pretty betrayed.
my idea of who he is has changed.
kinda fucked up of me to hold that against him.
I should really do something nice for him. like, randomly gift him something just for being awesome.
ugh.
this guy from corporate is here.
he just came in here, made some comment about us not paying the electric bill, and turned my lights on.
now you see, there are two sets of lights in here, for each side of the room. when I'm here I turn on the lights on the other side of the room, and when the guys are here they do the same. we basically sit on different sides of the room (we're arranged in a box, in the center of the room, so split down the middle we're on two different sides of the room) and whoever gets here in the morning turns the lights on the other side of the room on. so when the jesus fan gets here first his side stays off and he turns on my side, and when I get here first my side stays off and his side would get turned on.
I'm really annoyed some old man came through, turned on shit in a room he doesn't belong in, and then just went on through the building.
you'd think he'd be more concerned with the fact there's a puddle in the room (bathroom sink on the other side of the wall is leaking), but I guess having lights on is more important.
and it sounds like tooter is typing up his resignation.
or at least a prelude to one.
it's gonna be a great day, I can tell.

pretty sure I've referred to her as mazikeen before.
anyhow
we're all gonna go see the new jet li movie together.
I'm so stoked you don't even know.
plus, it'll be the first movie budd & I have both wanted to see. well not the first ever, but the first in a very long time.
I'm looking forward to going out properly, and I hope he is too.
'cause sitting at home playing wow every evening... while quite affordable, it's also quite mundane.
