by "we" I mean me & mcrough. budd was there too, but he didn't eat.
had a good time meeting a couple of mcrough's friends & watching them play guitar & sing. reminded me a lot of home, though.
saturday budd had the brilliant idea of putting the hamsters in aquariums! seriously brilliant, imo.
we also had company over (beanakin & his chick, and two of budd's friends - blake and derek*drool*), and I played uno!
also a bit of some other card game bean & his chick new how to play.
and one round of munchkin. derek*drool* won, but he cheated to win. kept blake from winning twice, in the process. lol
mcrough was supposed to come by, but he didn't. I was pretty upset, not because he didn't show up, but because he had said e was going to.
*shrug*
I've still not heard back from the apt complex, and it's a bit frustrating.
a load of my things are moved already (my living room & kitchen stuff) and a bit of my bedroom stuff (ok only my desk, so far).
we got these awesome glasses from target (funny story, really) that I mostly love and budd seems to tolerate.
we still have no windchime.
~and~ I finally picked up the chair from sarah last night.
I shall have pictures before too much longer, if the apt complex ever accepts me.

something that happened ~ 0820 kept getting brought up all day long, along with other things that made everyone in tech support wish we weren't here.
3 of us got off work at 5pm. we hit a local bar for happy hour.
I had a jimmy buffet night; a couple of cheeseburgers and a few margaritas. yum~
tooter & gizmo were good company, and I had a nice time. even budd showed up for a while.
I've not been blogging much lately.
I dunno. it's not that I don't have things to say, or things that I want to remember in a few years. I just don't feel like having to go through the trouble of putting my thoughts into words.
and since blogging has gotten me fired before, and since work is such shit right now, I don't have much else to talk about.
things with budd are great, as always. our hamsters are still alive, and we've been looking at windchimes.
work sucks. I'm leaving when sarah does. even if there were drastic changes here I don't think I'd want to stay.
oh!
one of my best girl friends from when I was growing up just found me yesterday on myspace. I'm so excited, but it doesn't seem like she's the computer type. so I think I'll break down and actually phone her over the weekend.
speaking of... my skypein number's gonna expire soon. I should renew that.

moved a load of my things over to budd's, so that place doesn't look so empty, and this place doesn't look so crowded.
we still need to move my coffee table & my bed, and that'll be it.
I don't think I'll move my bed 'till the lease is all worked out, but I think I may take my coffee table over some time this week.
I also need to find & clean all the bits of the papasan chair adrian gave me... and... move the last of my bookshelves... and... my garbage cans... and seriously that's all that's left. well, my storage bins of clothing, but those don't really count, imo.
oh and my television. and my consoles.
well fuck me in the ass. I forgot to pay the dsl bill.
wonder if I can pay online...
but I'm so sleepy. I had these weird dreams last night, that budd was sending me to kill someone... only I kept killing the wrong someone. several wrong someones.
*shrug*
oh I finally made my cherry pie. in honor of it, I shall listen to warrant's cherry pie while eating a slice. wooh!

I didn't sleep much, but that was more due to... well, honestly I dunno why. I spent all weekend waking up earlier than usual.
*shrug*
uneventful morning. got up a bit earlier than usual, and had nice good morning convs with the usual suspects. was on my way out the door humming warrant's cherry pie.
then I about flew into a rage when I saw someone had moved my truck.
dunno why. usually I find it annoying. mildly annoying, even. but goodness I was livid this morning.
I wanted almost nothing more than to be at budd's, with nothing but our messy hamsters and my load of dishes to worry about.
got to work. I was determined to not let my mood last all day. the guys did a great job of pulling me out of it, and before long I was back to reading about harry potter.
got home tonight... pulled into the driveway and was mostly happy to see the light in the living room on (meaning my sis was home & milling about).
I get inside and my mood changes, instantly.
she got music blaring so loud I'm surprised I didn't hear it outside.
I walk through the house, thinking to just lower it a bit & see if she's had dinner yet.
she's on the phone. music blaring and she's on the god damned phone.
I'm not sure why phones annoy me so much, but lord knows she won't break her conv to say anything to me.
after all, I'm just her sister. and I live with her; she can talk to me whenever she chooses to make time.
and again, I want to be at budd's.
