ok so now I want to buy a computer. So I've gotta come up with $2,000. *nodding* Now seeing as I only make ~ $300 every two weeks, it may take a while. I've decided I'm going to give myself a budget. I was talking to my friend Cesar a couple of days ago and he's gotten it in his head that I need a budget.... and I do have to admit he had quite a few valid points. I ran a credit check on myself.... I'm not doing that well. I did find out, though, that I have some credit cards I didn't know about. I've got a Best Buy card... and a Wal-Mart card... oh and a K-Mart card too. And another Mastercard that I didn't know about. Interesting. I think I may start screwing around with my balances and stuff... transfering parts of debt between all my newfound accounts. *shrug*
Back to the budget. I've got a budget now. Oh I bought David a little wooden armadillo today at Carlsbad Caverns. Had loads of fun.... just I'm dead tired now. *sigh* And crazy hungry. I just ordered a couple of burgers and some chili from Wendy's.
So like I was saying. I'm on a budget now. I'm not real sure how this is all gonna work out... but I'm just gonna hope it will. I guess I'll use one check to pay bills and one check straight into savings 'till I've got it all worked out. I should try and get another job, I suppose. So I'm back to that, eh?

Aww Vee hun, I've not forgot about you. Just being up here in BFE and the people I call friends are scattered around Texas, and the globe, can sometimes be a little overwhelming. Couple that with not having a "confidant" and I just get crazy bummed sometimes. Don't get me wrong - I love it here... just sometimes I wish I could just go out to dinner with a load of people who've known me for more than a year.

Ok... so I hate my job. Maybe it's the people I work with. It seems there is no end to the problems my coworkers have with the way I do my job. Yes, it's true. I chat for most of the night. But I do my job, too. I answer the phone. I stuff charts. I file labs and process admits and enter orders. Is it really my fault that it only takes maybe 3 hours max to do it all? So what do I do with the rest of my time? I jack around on the net is what I do. I really don't see how this is a problem as long as I'm still doing everything that's in my job description. *shrug*
I don't hate all the people I work with. In fact, I don't really hate any of them. Hate is a very strong word. I very strongly dislike, somewhat despise, a select few of the people I work with.
So I need a new job. Now let's think about this. What can I do? What do I want to do?
*sigh*
I'm thinking maybe working for a temp agency wouldn't be so bad. I'm gonna look into that.
Oh I'm thinking if I do switch jobs, or even if I don't.... I'm gonna delete all the stuff I've got on the web. I'm getting rid of my website (who's gonna miss it?), my blog (who's gonna notice?), my email accounts (yes, all of them), and all my instant messenger accounts too (they're kinda useless without a computer). So instead of blogging into the void maybe I'll make some friends irl (in real life). Or even better - I could actually tell the people I'm blogging about what's going on. Scary thought, eh?

So there's this one episode of Seinfield where George is talking about how a guy can't get any better looking than when wearing a tux. I dunno about that.... *shrug* I think David's crazy cute... and I know that's probably normal to hear from some d00d's gf - that she thinks her d00d is hot. But I try not to lie to myself or to the people around me. In all honesty I really do find him physically attractive. It's a nice change. I'm not saying that all the guys I've dated are gross or deformed or side-show freaks, just that usually I don't focus on stuff like that - appearance has never been important to me; I try to have things in common with the people I date. I remember this one night I was chatting with some law student who was arguing with me about why I date the people that I do. He said that on some level somewhere I was physically attracted to every guy I've ever dated. My argument was that there's so much more to a person than what they look like, and that we've all dealt with people wanting to get to know us for all the wrong reasons. *sigh* I dunno... there's just loads of things that I find attractive about David - his appearance just happens to be one of many. So I guess that guy was right? *shrug*
I dunno... but he's a cutie.
