Well here I find myself making another post. I sure wish I had a different job. I want a new job. Any ideas?
Oh! Only half an hour 'till freedom.

Well here I am at work bored out of my mind. What can I talk about today? Um.... *thinking*
Lately I've been playing loads of tekken.
Oh I have a new "worst line" - this d00d who works at tilt came up to me and said, "I think it's cool that you play tekken." And get this - he used it on me twice, two days in a row! *giggling* It's like... sheesh. He could at least be a little more inventive, or use it sparingly or something.
But like I was saying... I've been playing loads of tekken. My sister is quite a good; she's the only one who's given me any competition. Lord knows David (AKA The Holiday Armadillo) hasn't given me any [competion, you perve]. lol. But no, really. She's crazy at it. She plays with this chick... don't remember the chick's name, but she's in the habit of getting her girl to go up to mine, break my back, and then kicking me repeatedly while I'm laying there on the ground. And she's supposed to be compassionate.

Ok ok ok... After all the hulabaloo of last night I'm gonna have to say, "No, I didn't fix it."
*sigh*
It's way up there on my to-do list to learn how to fix my own junk, but what can I say? There are some perks to have a nerdy bf. *shrug*
And no, that doesn't make me a moocher. I'm just using my resources.

It snowed last night!!! I've never seen snow falling out of the sky before. I saw snow on the ground once... but never while it was in the process of getting there. Had loads of fun. David and Lucky and I rampaged around his apartment complex throwing snow and such. Yep. Loads of fun.

Yes I know my tagger doesn't work - it's in the wrong place too. I'm working on it, hun. Gimme a break, though; I was really suffering from fatigue that night. And at least the colors are right... kinda. :">
Oh I had a crazy awesome night last night, though.

Ooh! I FINALLY saw The Hunted... and I thought it was crazy awesome. Made me really wanna get back into hand-to-hand combat. No worries, though. I'd like to go through basic training, but I'm not too eager to sign my life away for aaaages just to learn a few new ways to kill someone. And I don't ever wanna use a gun, much less own and name one. I dunno if all that's true or not; Hollywood tends to oversimplify things, but guns are bad.
For those of you who don't know me very well, I'm really against guns. I just feel that if you're going to take someone's life you should be up there and manually take it, as opposed to pulling a trigger from who knows how far away. With guns I just feel like you're not grasping the severity of the action. *shrug* Call me old fashioned... I dunno. If someone's gonna break into my house to kill me, I'd much rather have them gut me open than just shoot me. *shrug* I may go back to carrying a knife - just so that if the situation ever comes up I can offer my knife to my murderer. *sigh* I can see the headlines now.

Now I'm gonna be in lubbock a lot longer than I had planned. *sigh* It's not so bad, though. Aside from the climate, lubbock's kinda grown on me.

sorry to hear about you flunking out of nursing. should have moved up here with me when i made the offer :-P

Well I finally went and cut my hair. I got rid of about six inches, but it's not really that noticable. The chic who was cutting my hair was asking how I felt about getting red highlights. That'd be cool and all, as long as it was red like the primary color, and not red like a "natural" color. Then she tried to convince me that I'd look good with an "all-over burgandy," whatever that means. I was like, "if it's not getting darker, it's not getting at all." Needless to say she and I didn't bond. *shrug*
Now I've gotten it into my head that I want red highlights.
Oh did I tell all of ya'll I flunked out of nursing school? Kinda funny, isn't it? I mean, when I graduated hs I got a scholarship to a prestigious uni, and I just now flunked out of a backwater college lvn prog. *sigh*
Oh you know that book I was reading at b&n? The Crow spin off? Well, I went back a couple of days ago... I was gonna buy it and all. And it was gone!
*shocked*
Anyhow.... I'm off to stuff charts.

The national alliance against cooties wrote that message 'cause Tina'a talking about kissing.
Ewww, indeed.

Cooties cannot be transmitted by holding hands, hugging or using the same bathroom that someone with cooties used. It cannot be transmitted by looking at, talking to or having strong feelings for someone with Cooties. You cannot spot a Cooties victim by looking at them. Cooties does not discriminate. Cooties is transmitted only one way...kissing girls. If you suspect that you or someone you love has Cooties, call the Cooties Emergency Help Line at 1-800-EWW-GROSS. Education is the only way to fight the spread of cooties. Fight ingorance. Fight Cooties.

The decision to kiss for the first time is the most crucial in any love story. It changes the relationship of two people much more strongly than even the final surrender because this kiss already has within it that surrender.

I always worry about Tina.

David, that dream makes me worry about you, too. The only thing I can tell about that dream is you want some ...."cat" ( I won't be vulgar and say the word, I'm thinking).
At least, we know you're straight.

::: posted by I'm with Stupid at 5:20 PM :::

I had a dream once where I was playing with a really ugly cat with a zipper under his chin. The zipper ran the length of his body, so I unzipped it and pulled out a smaller cat from inside the bigger cat. The small cat that came out of the big cat could speak English and (this is the freaky part) it had a crush on me. Weird, huh? I wonder what Freud would say that it means.

::: posted by David at 2:32 PM :::

umm... so what made you think of that??? should we worry about you??? ;o)

Did you ever have that dream where you were totally naked, having sex with some really creepy looking animal, while being molested with a carrot... and then the sky starts falling and the ground and the water starts rising up to where the sky shoud be, then a car hits your naked ass out in the middle of the street, and everyone comes to your funeral and laughs at you?

I haven't... if you have... well... I'm worried.

This one's got an increasing alarm, and little lights on it and such. Also crazy awesome.

They're all clocks, btw. ;-)
This last one is a clock radio, with an alarm. Supposedly the alarm sounds like the red alert klaxons, so I'm all stoked and stuff. I do believe this one is the awesomest of the three. :">

Oh I more or less had a nervous breakdown earlier. Well, not really. But it may be as close to one as I've ever come. School's just so full of drama. *sigh*

The Prize

A guy met a girl at a nightclub, and she invited him back to her place for the night.

When they arrived at her house, they went right into her bedroom. The guy saw that the room was filled with stuffed animals. There were hundreds of them all over the place. Giant stuffed animals were on top of the wardrobe. Large stuffed animals were on the bookshelf and on the window sill, and a lot of smaller stuffed animals were on the bottom shelf.

Much later, after they had sex, he turned to her and asked, "So ... how was I?"

"Well," she said, "You can take anything from the bottom shelf."

And what's the deal with the whole chloroform? I've never heard of it being used as a coolant, hun.

Oh I had such an awesome week. The director of the nursing prog was trying to sabatoge my med rotation. She was trying to trick me into giving Megace, a chemotherapy agent. It's crazy serious so students aren't allowed to give it. But she was trying to convince me that since my patient was getting it as an appetite stimulant that it'd all be ok. Thank God I didn't give it 'cause I talked to our pharmacology teacher and she said that no matter what I could not give Megace until I've got "lvn" after my name. *rolling eyes*
I'm gonna bite my tongue about that one.
